Wendi Richter painting

I made this painting on a 45 that Max gave me, for a show at Jack London in Portland coming up on July 5th. It's called, "Woman's Champion 1984 Wendi Richter".

NRW Wrestling night at Fun City in Littleton. Here, fans turn their back on the bad guy.
Me with Noah van Sciver drawing outside Kilgore Books.
Kilgore Books has a great selection of comics!
We walked all over Downtown and Capitol Hill.
16th Ave. Mall - a long stretch of stores that are in every American town.
Eating dinner at City 'O City.
Sunset over the Rockies - view from Gary & Josh's balcony.

Savage Art Show - Toronto

I'm in this art show! It's so rare when strange interests intersect: art & wrestling! I'm truly honored to be able to pay tribute to one of the greatest wrestlers of all time: Macho Man Randy Savage (R.I.P).

Rhodes vs. Race

This is one of the three drawings showing at Floating World in Portland, OR. The opening was last night and I missed it. Max was there though, along with friends Jason T. Miles, Tim Miller, and lots of Portland pals.

Birthday Weekend (WWE at Key Arena)

John Cena and Gary Jones.
The crazy stage and ring.
Crowd bathed in colors.
Main event: Cena vs. Miz in a "I Quit" match.
Gary's reaction to Miz saying "I Quit".

I had fun with Gary and Alex at the WWE match on Sunday. It was crowded and I had to squish next to a handicapped mother, her daughter, and son in full juggalo face-paint. They had signs that read: We love Randy Orton, Hot, Sexy Man!

The biggest thrill was seeing Bret Hart come out as a surprise guest, I never thought I'd see that guy in person. The entire pay-per-view was dedicated to Macho Man Randy Savage who died tragically on May 20th.

These are some ink paintings I did this weekend. This paper was so absorbant, I must have used 1/2 bottle of ink!

Wrestling Night

The Big Show, Undertaker, and Kane. If you are new to this blog you might not be aware that despite loving art, I also love wrestling and competitive, staged violence.
